Dr. Syed Latafat Husain Hamzavi, MD is a board-certified dermatologist providing care to patients in the greater Detroit area at Hamzavi Dermatology that he founded.

Dr. S. L. Husain Hamzavi is highly regarded as one of southeast Michigan's leading dermatologists. He has served as a clinical assistant professor in dermatology at Wayne State University for more than 20 years.

Dr. Hamzavi serves as a staff member of the following hospitals: Harper, Hutzel, Detroit Receiving Hospital, William Beaumont Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital, and the Port Huron and Mercy Hospitals. He is a fellow of the American Medical Association, the Michigan State Medical Society, the Oakland Medical Society, and the British Association of Dermatology.

As a consultant dermatologist to the Regional Contact Dermatitis Unit for the west of Scotland, Dr. Hamzavi has evaluated and managed hundreds of cases of contact dermatitis due to industrial exposure, and is an international expert and published author in this revolutionary field.
