Later, she joined the Department of Internal Medicine at Harvard Medical School where she completed a fellowship in the Division of Nephrology, Brigham & Women's Hospital and the Massachusetts General Hospital. She has conducted research in the Harvard Institutes of Medicine and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. She is board-certified in internal medicine and is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Alpha-Omega-Alpha (AOA) Honors Medical Society. Her interest is in the interface of dermatology and internal medicine.
