Vivek Bansal, MD
Dr. Vivek Bansal completed his medical school training at the prestigious Penn State, College of Medicine where he earned his MD degree. Dr. Bansal specializes in both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. His specialty is breast, face, and body sculpting. Due to his expertise in laser liposuction, Elite MD is a luminary site and training center for physicians across the country to learn the most advanced techniques in Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Bansal works alongside his wife Dr. Sonia Badreshia-Bansal who is a dermatologist at Elite MD. Dr. Bansal earned numerous honorary awards for his exceptional humanitarian efforts, international clinical work, resident teaching, and medical research. Dr. Bansal’s most distinctive and rewarding projects have included the launch of several non-profit community projects initiated in collaboration with his wife. These projects have included an after-school tutorial program for inner city children, which is now a part of AmeriCorps and Penn State Hershey's LION CARE, which is now one of the largest free medical student run homeless clinics in the nation. He also has a passion for pediatric plastic surgery, especially cleft lip and palate surgery, and has established a non-profit organization, RoseBush Clinics, made of physician volunteers who perform these surgeries abroad. Dr. Bansal raised significant private sector funding for his projects. His efforts were recognized by his medical school, media, and medical organizations where he was presented with several awards. His other passions include his family, sports, innovation, teaching, and traveling.
