About Dr. William Voelter, MD
William W. Voelter, M.D. is a board certified dermatologist with over 35 years experience in clinical dermatology with special interests in diagnosis, skin cancer screening and treatment, and phototherapy (psoriasis, eczema, etc).
Dr. Voelter is a graduate of both the University of Texas at Austin and The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. Prior to completion of a residency in dermatology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, Dr. Voelter completed an internship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, followed by two years active duty service in the United States Navy.
Dr. Voelter has been in solo or partnership dermatology practices since 1974 in Abilene, Texas, and Green Bay, Wisconsin. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and holds memberships in multiple county, state, and national medical organizations.
He and his wife Judy reside in Abilene, Texas. His hobbies include golf, reading and toy soldiering.
