About Jason Dominquez, PA-C

Board-certified Physician Assistant Jason Dominguez has extensive experience in the clinical field. Prior to joining Pinnacle Dermatology, he worked in Gastroenterology and Primary Care.

In addition to providing care to his patients, Jason provides clinical education support as an instructor. He is an Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor for Healthcare Providers and ACLS Instructors as well as a current Basic Life Support Instructor for Healthcare / Non-HealthCare Personnel and BLS Instructors. Jason is also a Clinical Instructor for PA Students rotating in Dermatology and recently received the 2021-2022 Distinguished Clinical Instructor for Hardin Simmons PA Program Award.

Jason says, “I treat all Medical Skin conditions and perform minor skin surgeries. One of my main goals is patient education to detect and prevent skin cancer. My favorite condition to treat is acne. My favorite quote is by Dr. Oliver Sacks ” There is only one cardinal rule: One must always listen to the patient.”

Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Texas Permian Basin. He has a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Texas Tech Health Science Center. Jason has also completed the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants Diplomate Fellowship program. He is certified in clinical research.
