About Jil Swanson, PA-C

Jil Swanson, MPAS, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant with over 18 years of clinical experience specializing in dermatology. Prior to joining Dr. Seraly, Jil worked in both the private practice and the university settings. She has a particular interest in general dermatology, pigmented lesions, cutaneous oncology and psoriasis.

Ms. Swanson began her studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received her Bachelor of Science and worked toward her Master of Science in Biology at California University of Pennsylvania. She received a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Chatham College in 2001.

Jil has authored several publications, lectured in dermatology and has received several awards as preceptor of the year for physician assistant students.

Jil is the Founder and Past President of the Pennsylvania Dermatology Physician Assistant (PDPA) Society. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants, the Pennsylvania Dermatology Physician Assistant Society, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
