Laura Bush is a certified Physician Assistant with a special interest in dermatology providing care to patients in the Fayetteville area

Laura graduated with a Masters of Medical Science degree from Emory University’s Physician Assistant program with honors in 1991. Laura initially practiced in emergency medicine and family practice which provided an excellent foundation in dermatology prior to joining Fayette Area Dermatology in 2007. Laura Bush is a Certified Physician Assistant with a special interest in dermatology. She graduated with a Masters of Medical Science degree from Emory University’s Physician Assistant program with honors in 1991. In her early years, she practiced in emergency medicine and family practice which provided an excellent foundation for dermatology. She joined Fayette Area Dermatology in 2007. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants, the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants. She has served on the board of directors for the Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistant Society for the past 6 years. She recently authored a training module and served as a module manager in the SDPA Dermatology Diplomate Fellowship program CME for fellow PA’s. She is a current Dermatology Diplomate through the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants. She enjoys travel, the outdoors and most of all spending time with her husband and children.
