Melissa Brown, PA-C is a physician assistant providing dermatology care to patients in the Sherman Oaks area at Honest Dermatology Skin & Laser Center. Melissa also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Clinical Medicine at USC’s Keck School of Medicine. In August 2009, Melissa was asked to become an ACE Speaker for Allergan Medical Facial Aesthetics. Melissa Brown, PA-C lectures and leads round table discussions on the use of Botox Cosmetic, Juvaderm, Latisse, and Sculptra. She is an active member of the California Association of Physician Assistants (CAPA) and of the Society for Dermatologic Physician Assistants (SDPA).

Education & Training

Melissa is a southern California native and graduate from Quartz Hill High School before receiving her undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Spanish at Pacific University in Portland, OR. After graduation, Melissa worked as an EMT-I for Metro West Ambulance before attending the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC) where graduated with a Master's Degree of Physician Assistant Practice. It was at USC that Melissa trained with in cosmetic surgery procedures by Andrew Berman, MD, including Botox, dermal fillers (e.g. Restylane, Radiesse), and lasers.
