She began her studies at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. She also received her Bachelors of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, earning Master of Medical Science from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

She is trained in numerous laser procedures, fillers such as Restylane and Perlane, Botox injections, facial peels, general and surgical dermatology and allergies. She also has a special interest in rejuvenating sun-damaged skin.
