About Traci Long, PA-C
Traci Long, Certified Physician Assistant, joined the Current Dermatology provider staff in late 2012. She grew up in Kentucky and North Carolina, and graduated from Campbell University with a BS in Biology and Chemistry. She is a also a graduate of George Washington University (PA, MSHS) . During her clinical training she worked at Children's National Medical Center, George Washington University Hospital, and several other hospitals in the greater DC/Baltimore area, and is now delighted to apply her medical skills and eye for detail to the practice of dermatology. Traci has proudly served as a stay at home mom and a public high school teacher, and is now enjoying her new career as a Physician Assistant. She is married to Gary and they have three kids, one dog, and a shared love of traveling.

Current Dermatology is a full-service dermatology practice located in Sylva, North Carolina. We offer a comprehensive range of skin care treatments including medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. We enjoy treating patients of all ages and with all types of dermatologic problems. Dr. Custer received three years of exclusive training in dermatology at a residency fully accredited by the American Board of Graduate Medical Education and approved by the American Board of Dermatology.
