Clifford Amos received a certificate of cardio-pulmonary technology from Bethesda Naval Hospital in 1986 and then completed a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland in 1994 and a Master of Science degree from The George Washington University in 1997.

His clinical experience includes echocardiography technologist, cardiopulmonary technologist, US Navy Hospital Corpsman, family practice at the Tarboro Clinic.
