About Dr. Alan Stanford, MD, FAAD, ABD, FACMS
He completed his internship in general surgery at Naval Hospital, Portsmouth, Virginia and dermatology residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Stanford devoted over ten years of his medical career to serving in the United States Navy before opening Deep South Dermatology in 1996.
He is board certified by the American Academy of Dermatology. He is also a fellow member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Alabama Dermatology Society, and the Academy of Mohs Surgeons.
He currently resides in Fairhope with his wife Cindy.
