About Dr. Cynthia McKim, MD
Dr. Cynthia McKim received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1989 and practiced overseas for six years, providing care for multiple expatriate nationalities. She relocated to Boise in 1996. Dr. McKim founded the Boise Center for Cosmetic Dentistry where she practiced cosmetic and general dentistry and incorporated anti-aging injectables for her patients. She continually participates in prestigious educational programs to stay on top of the latest technologies as well as the newest techniques of aesthetic cosmetic procedures.
With Dr. McKim’s work and techniques featured in numerous professional journals and magazines, her expertise places her as one of the few dentists worldwide holding the honor of an Accredited Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Accredited Fellow is the highest credential earned in the AACD. This designation demonstrates a continued ability and sustained commitment to deliver excellence.
Dr. McKim has published articles in peer-reviewed journals including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and The Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry. Her work has been featured as the cover photo of the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry, and she has been highlighted in the Idaho Business IQ and the Eagle Magazine.
Dr. McKim is known for providing her patients with a personalized and thoughtful approach. A proponent of aging gracefully, she works with each client to compose a completely customized treatment plan that not only resolves their concerns, and focuses on everything our clients need to achieve a beautiful, healthy and youthful life. When she is not treating patients or continuing her education, she enjoys training and showing her dressage horses.
