About Dr. David Balle, MD

Dr. Balle is a board certified dermatologist in private practice at Grosse Pointe Dermatology where he practices in partnership with Dr. Judith T. Lipinski. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine where he was a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed his residency at Henry Ford Hospital in the Department of Dermatology where he served as chief resident under Chairman Dr. Edward Krull and Chairman Emeritus Dr. Clarence Livingood.

While Dr. Balle’s expertise includes both medical and cosmetic Dermatology, he is truly recognized as a leader in minimally invasive facial aesthetics.

Dr. Balle is an exercise enthusiast and enjoys spending free time with his family, friends, and his Rhodesian Ridgeback, Stella. Dr. Balle helps support numerous organizations including Covenant House Michigan, Boys Hope Girls Hope, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Michigan Opera Theater and various other schools and community organizations. He also serves as a board member of the Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce.
