About Dr. Diana Sun, MD
Passionate about having a comprehensive understanding of all medical aspects of the human body, she stayed on at Albert Einstein College to complete her residency in Internal Medicine. Immediately following, she went on to her dermatology training at the State University of New York at Stony Brook where she graduated as Chief Resident of Dermatology. Dr. Sun is a Diplomate of American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
She is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology of the State University of New York at Stony Brook. In addition to her passion for medical, holistic, and cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Sun is actively involved in the medical and surgical training of dermatology residents at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She was awarded Dermatology Professor of the Year at SUNY at Stony Brook in 2015. She continues to publish papers in the dermatology literature and annually presents clinical cases at the American Academy of Dermatology Gross and Microscopic Symposium with her residents in training.

Two of our physicians are also board certified in dermatopathology. Our Physician Assistants are top graduates of most competitive PA programs in the country and have completed rigorous dermatology specific training before treating patients under the strict guidance of our board certified dermatologists.
