About Dr. George Verghese, MD
Dr. George Verghese is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon providing medical and surgical dermatology care to patients in the Maryland area at the Mid-Atlantic Skin Surgery Institute.
A native of Southern Maryland and graduate of St. Mary’s Ryken High School, Dr. Verghese earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Georgetown University and earned his medical degree (MD) from Howard University College of Medicine. He also completed his dermatology residency training at Howard University Hospital.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Verghese is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Howard University College of Medicine and former Mohs surgeon for the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington, DC.
