Dr. Milstein specializes in medical and cosmetic Dermatology and is a leader in developing techniques for the use of lasers for the treatment of the skin and sun aging. Dr. Howard Milstein, MD is a board-certified dermatologist providing care to patients at La Jolla Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery Center that he founded.
Dr. Milstein also serves an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at University of California San Diego (UCSD) and teaches medical students and dermatology residents.
He is a member of the San Diego Dermatology Society and the San Diego Medical Society.

After graduating from the University of Minnesota Medical School, Dr. Milstein completed his Dermatology residency at UC San Diego and Fellowships at Stanford University, the Mayo Clinic and the Scripps Clinic.
