Today, as the medical director of the Helton Skin and Laser Institute in Newport Beach, California, Dr. Helton specializes in non-surgical methods of improving his patients’ appearance. Using his artistic, creative and medical knowledge as one of the nation’s most renowned Cosmetic Dermatologists, his patients receive results that are second to none.
Dr. Helton received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Michigan Technological University. After working his way through medical school at Michigan State University, Dr. Helton specialized in Emergency Medicine for the following four years. Wanting to use his medical and creative ability to make people look better, Dr. Helton completed his residency at the University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California and followed that training with a fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery at the Fulton Skin Institute in Newport Beach, California.
