Richard E. Stiefler, M.D. received his B.A. at Columbia University, New York and his M.D. degree at the University of California at San Francisco. Dr. Stiefler did his internship and residency in Pediatrics at the University of Southern California-Los Angeles County Medical Center and further residency in Pediatrics at Mt. Zion Medical Center in San Francisco.
Dr. Stiefle then fulfilled his residency in Dermatology at the State University of New York (SUNY)-Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn and a fellowship in Dermatopathology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He was chief of Dermatopathology and of Pediatric Dermatology at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
