About Dr. Robert Moreland, MD
Robert Moreland, MD is a board-certified Anchorage dermatologist with extensive experience in medical, surgical and pediatric dermatology. He also has in-depth experience using lasers to treat a variety of skin conditions.
Prior to joining the Alaska Center for Dermatology in December 2005, Dr. Moreland was on active duty in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years. He served as Chief of Dermatology at Elmendorf AFB in Alaska from July 2002 to September 2005.

Dr. Moreland was born in Dallas, Texas and raised in Boulder, Colorado. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio and completed his residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC).

To help fill Alaska’s need for a cutting-edge, comprehensive clinic offering both medical and cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Peter Ehrnstrom opened the Alaska Center for Dermatology in Anchorage, Alaska, in 2003. Since then, he has worked to bring some of the area’s brightest dermatologists and other dermatology professionals to his practice. Today, the Alaska Center for Dermatology is home to six medical doctors and two physician assistants as well as a friendly support staff. Together we offer a full range of dermatology services for people of all ages.
