She went on to earn her medical degree at the University of Washington and completed her residency at Oregon Health Sciences University. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatologists, the Seattle Dermatological Society, Alpha Omega Alpha, and Phi Beta Kappa, and has practiced dermatology in Portland and Boston.
