About Dr. Shereen Timani, MD

Dr. Shereen Timani is located at Johns Creek Dermatology and Family Medicine. Patients rely on her for the treatment of their skin conditions, but also on her expertise in Dermatopathology and her skills with anti-aging procedures. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati- one of the prestigious training programs in the country, Dr Timani is renowned for her extensive and comprehensive training.

She completed her medical school and earned a residency in Dermatology at the American University of Beirut. Consequently she relocated to Cincinnati where she finished another residency in Dermatology and pursued a fellowship in Dermatopathology. After years of mastering medical Dermatology, surgery and cosmetics she chose Dermatopathology as the perfect complement to her clinical skills.

A current and active member of multiple societies such as the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, the American Board of Dermatopathology and the Women’s Society for Dermatology; Dr Timani has previously served on the board of Trustees of the Ohio Dermatology Association. She has contributed numerous presentations in many scientific meetings and published multiple articles in prestigious medical journals.

Dr Timani has worked closely with residents as a senior during her training, and as a clinical assistant during her fellowship. She served as a staff physician in the Veterans Medical center in Cincinnati for 1 year.
