About Dr. Shields Callahan, M.D., FAAD, ACMS

Dr. Callahan is a Board Certified Dermatologist and an ACMS fellowship-trained Mohs Skin Cancer Surgeon. Dr. Callahan most recently served as the Director of Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University. She has nine years of clinical experience in dermatology and joined Dermatology Consultants in 2022.

Dr. Callahan received her Bachelor’s Degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and her Medical Doctorate Degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. Dr. Callahan completed her residency training program in dermatology at the New York University Langone Medical Center in New York, NY, and her fellowship in Mohs surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.
