Dr. Chi is a native of Southern California and moved to Chicago after high school, graduating from Northwestern University cum laude with a B.A. in philosophy, then earning her medical degree at Northwestern University Medical School with highest honors in 2001. She completed her residency in dermatology at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, serving as chief resident during her final year.
