Western Wayne Family Health Centers
We want to be your medical home. One of our doctors or nurse practitioners can be you primary care provider and take care of you when you are sick or work with you to stay well. Yearly checkups are just as important as going to the doctor when you are sick. We take care of people of all ages—birth through seniors.
We also offer prenatal and OB care for pregnant women, care for new babies and women’s health (GYN).
Our dental care team offers general family dentistry for all ages.
We also have behavioral health care—with social workers (MSWs) and psychologists (MA, MS or PhD). They can assist with access to psychiatric services, which are can be done on site by “tele-psychiatry” which uses technology similar to Skype that is privacy protected. We also have treatment programs (MAT) to help people with opiate use disorder.
A big difference in how WWFHC cares for you and your family are our community health workers/care managers. You can partner with them to help figure out how you can be healthier. We have classes about how to take care of yourself if you have a chronic condition like diabetes or high blood pressure plus fitness and cooking classes.
