Dr. Jason L Smith, M.D., is a board-certified Georgia Dermatologist providing care to patients in the Rome area at Northwest Georgia Dermatology.

Dr. Smith has extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of problems with skin, hair and nails, both medically and surgically. Dr. Smith also has advanced training in phototherapy, laser surgery, Botox and cosmetic injectable fillers. Dr. Smith regularly attends accredited continuing medical education programs to provide the most up-to-date dermatologic care.

Education & Training

Dr. Smith received his Doctor of Medicine degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1981. He then completed a one-year internship at Lafayette Charity Hospital in Louisiana before entering LSU-Tulane’s three year residency program for dermatologic surgery where he served as chief resident.
