About Dr. Joshua Lane, MD

Dr. Joshua Lane is a native of Macon, Georgia, where he attended Mercer University School of Medicine. He then completed a transitional internship at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, followed by a dermatology residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Lane next completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic and Reconstructive Surgery under the tutelage of Dr. David Kent.

Dr. Lane remains active in the academic community. He is on clinical faculty at Emory University School of Medicine, Mercer University School of Medicine, and the Medical College of Georgia, where he enjoys training residents and medical students.

He has published over 100 medical and surgical publications in peer-reviewed journals as well as multiple book chapters in surgical textbooks. In addition, he recently published his surgical textbook entitled Pocket Guide for Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery with Cambridge University Press.
