About Dr. Snehal Desai, MD

Dr. Desai is a native of Troy, MI and graduated from Troy High School. He went on to receive his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and then completed his medical degree as a Dean's scholar at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Desai completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit where he went on to complete his dermatology residency and served as chief resident. Dr. Desai is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. His clinical interests include general, pediatric, medical, and cosmetic dermatology as well as treatment of skin tumors. He is a member of the Michigan Dermatological Society and American Academy of Dermatology. He has been featured in Detroit Hour magazine making the Top Docs list in 2009. In his spare time, Dr. Desai enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with his family. He is also an avid sports fan and especially enjoys Michigan football.
